SecureMeet Meetups - Frequently Asked Questions

General Information

SecureMeet Meetups is Singapore’s first SingPass-enabled online booking system, designed to keep your physical meetings safe and accounted for.

It gives you control over who attends your events, your venue capacity, bookings and gathering compliance, backed by secure verification with SingPass Mobile.

SecureMeet Meetups’s main feature is collecting online bookings for physical gatherings. Users on the free, basic tier can organise up to 3 Meetups with up to 5 subzones for free, along with managing attendee capacity, Meetup recurrence, and multiple bookings. This also includes secure & verified user registration with SingPass Mobile.

The premium features of SecureMeet Meetups include:

  • SMS registration
  • Auto-reminder system (SMS / email)
  • Additional Meetups
  • Booking limit module
  • Attendee Management System, which includes:
    • Import & export attendee lists
    • Edit registrant details
    • Monthly rotation module
    • Waitlisting module
    • Auto-overflow redirect to other available services
    • Automated zone allocation module
    • Data collection for multiple bookings

SecureMeet Meetups is enabled by SingPass – the national digital identity for Singapore residents.

The app allows you to set up time-slots for your physical gatherings (a.k.a. Meetups). Attendees can then register for their chosen time-slot with their SingPass IDs to access a Registration Pass, and flash their pass at the meeting. Users can also scan the unique event QR code to check in on-site.

Bookings & Registration

For non-Singaporeans or anyone without a SingPass ID, SecureMeet Meetups provides an SMS registration service for them to register instead. (Note: SMS registration is an additional paid feature)

If your event is at full capacity, any additional users who are interested to register will instead be redirected to your next available event. They can also be added to a waitlist for you to keep track of interested users. (Note: The auto-redirect and waitlisting modules are both part of the Attendee Management System, a premium feature of SecureMeet Meetups)

Yes, SecureMeet Meetups has a zone allocation feature which allows users to be separated in up to 5 zones per Meetup, with a maximum capacity of 50 pax per zone.

Yes, by generating the unique event QR code for your gathering, you can allow users to register on the spot. However, allowing onsite registrations depends on your venue & event capacity.

Yes, users will be able to cancel their bookings before the Meetup begins if they registered with SingPass.

Yes, SecureMeet Meetups has a booking limit feature to enforce monthly limits on bookings by individual users. (Note: this is an additional premium module of SecureMeet Meetups)

After successfully registering for a Meetup, users will receive a Registration Pass containing their booking information, allocated zone, entrance information, and seats (if applicable). They will simply need to flash their Registration Pass to your event usher before entering.

SecureMeet Meetups does have an auto-reminder system, which includes both SMS and email reminders. The email reminders include an automated calendar invite too! (Note: the auto-reminder system is an additional premium feature of SecureMeet Meetups)

Yes, but you will need to register each guest’s details along with your registration. When attending the event, please be sure that all guests are present before entering, as they will not receive separate Registration Passes.

If you and your guests are not able to attend together, do opt for individual bookings instead so that each person will receive a Registration Pass and can attend separately.
